• Through the Sankat Mochan Yojana, also known as the Rashtriya Kutumb Sahay Yojana in Gujarat, families receive a one-time assistance payment of Rs 20,000/- through the Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT) mechanism in the event of the primary income earner’s demise.

Required documents to avail this scheme

2. The Sankat Mochan (National Family Assistance) scheme requires applicants to submit their applications to the Mamlatdar of the respective Taluka, which covers both urban and rural areas.
3. Assistance provided under this program will be directly credited to the bank account of the applicant.
4. The online application form can be accessed through the Digital Gujarat Portal, requiring a Digital Gujarat login. This portal is accessible through Village Computer Entrepreneurs (VCE) and Gram Panchayats.
5. To access the benefits of the Sankat Mochan Sahay Yojana, individuals must apply online through the Gujarat digital portal of VCE, which is available in every Gram Panchayat.
6. All online applications should be submitted through the Gujarat Digital Portal to the “IT Office Security Officer” at the Taluka Mamlatdar office.
