Vikram Sarabhai Scholarship Program: Vikram Sarabhai PRL (Physical Research) Scholarship Program strives to inculcate scientific attitudes and methods in students who are engaged in the highest level of education and research in the school. Students from rural areas face economic hardships as well as lack of guidance and many other problems. PRL knows about society.

With this in mind, we are pleased to launch ten scholarships in memory of our founder, Mr. Vikram Sarabhai. The purpose of this scholarship is to encourage and support economically weaker students from rural areas of Gujarat to pursue higher education in science.

The name of this scholarship is Vikram Sarabhai Incentive Yojana (Development Scholarship). A total of ten (10) scholarships will be awarded each year. Out of 10, at least 5 scholarships will be awarded to girls. Students studying in class 8 in rural Gujarat whose total annual family income is less than 1.5 lakhs can apply.

[For the year 2022-2023 only, 10 more scholarships are available for students currently studying in class 10 who plan to follow the science stream next year. If selected, these students will get a two-year scholarship which will be ₹ 30,000/- during Class 11 and ₹ 30,000/- during Class 12.]

Selected students will receive a scholarship worth ₹ 1,00,000/- (Rupees One Lakh only) over four years. [₹20,000/- in class 9, ₹20,000/- in class 10 if the student completes science in class 10 So ₹ 30,000/- in class 11 and ₹ 30,000/- in class 12. The name of the scholarship is Vikram Sarabhai Tilak Yojana (Development Scholarship).

Vikram Sarabhai Scholarship Program – Eligibility, Procedure, Status

>The applicant must be a student studying in class 8 in a recognized government school in a rural area of ​​Gujarat. [Students studying in class 10 for the year 2022-23 only can also apply.]

>The selection of students for Vikas scholarship will be based on the marks obtained in class 7, their financial status and the marks obtained in the selection test, which will be conducted by PRL.[For students in class 10, the marks obtained in class 9 (IX) will be taken into account. Other selection criteria will be same.]

>The applicant must provide a written certificate from the school principal which must contain the following details.

>The student’s name and whether or not the student is a full-time student of the school. The name of the school board to which the school is affiliated.

>Gujarat School or Education Department Registration Number. Specify whether the school is government, semi-government or private.

>School language support. Whether the school is located in rural Gujarat or not.

The applicant must provide a proof of income clearly showing that the total annual income of the student’s family from all sources of income does not exceed one and a half rupees. One of the authorities mentioned below will provide this example.

PRL will independently verify the evidence of the students selected for the scholarship and if any information is found to be incorrect or willful or omit any important facts, the award of the scholarship will be withdrawn. the body.

Annual renewal of the scholarship will be subject to the student continuing their studies in the following year. Students will be required to submit a copy of the results at the end of each academic year during the academic term and a certificate from the school principal stating that they have continued the course and that the academic results in their breeding is good.

The student scholarship can be continued only after class 10 if the student continues his studies in science in class 11. The student must present a certificate from the principal to prove this fact.

The recipient of this scholarship is PR.L. It is easy to say that there is no other scholarship or financial aid. A student who receives financial aid from other sources or who receives other scholarships must not be excluded from receiving developmental education.

If the certificate does not include the school’s address and the details of the school’s registration with the Board of Education, the applicant must also produce a certificate from the head teacher showing these details. If the student is selected for the scholarship, the following details must be provided:

Vikram Sarabhai Scholarship Program – About the Exam

The examination date will be held in all institutions on Sunday, January 22, 2023. Registered students will be notified of the examination period in due course. The duration of the examination will be one hour.

Students taking the placement test will be admitted to their respective labs at 10:00 am. Candidates appearing for the examination must bring their admit card and identity card.

This quiz will consist of multiple choice questions that test basic knowledge and skills. The question paper will be in English, Hindi and Gujarati and the answer sheet (OMR sheet) will be in English only.

+3 points for each correct answer and -1 point for each incorrect answer. Unanswered questions will not be graded.
