What is a credit score?
A credit score is a three-digit number calculated from credit information provided by credit bureaus and credit bureaus nationwide. Credit score in India varies between 300 and 900 and is defined by considering many factors such as your long credit history, repayment history (on your loans and credit cards), credit applications, etc.
A high credit score increases your chances of getting a loan or credit card. It can also get you the highest loan amount, the best credit card limit, and the best payment terms like the lowest interest rate at your preferred time.
Some employers also want to check credit scores to determine the applicant’s background.
